Dave Navarro, current judge/band member on “Rock Star: supernova” and guitarist for The Panic Channel, is expanding further into the world of television.
Billboard reports that Navarro has come up with a new TV series called “The Product.” The show will look at the behind-the-scenes realities of playing in a popular rock band.
“Basically, it’s the life of a rock band as a dysfunctional family,” says the evil Navarro. “It’s almost a show about a rock band’s relationships and inner struggles more so than it is about a rock band playing music.”
The series was co-created with writer Cliff Dorfman (”Entourage”) and journalist Neil Strauss.
The one-hour drama has already been picked up by FX, though no premiere date has been set.
