Pirate Master enters week 3 with Joe Don still as Captain.
The crew however is determined to make a change

The Teams were split and Captain Joe Don and his officers were on the black crew, and the red crew was determined to win so that they could choose a new captain to replace Joe Don.

After paddling to shore, the two crews followed a trail through the forest. Since the red crew was in the lead, they were able launch a bamboo sabotage on the black crew. At the end of the trail, the two crews had to cross a raging river to reach a headless skeleton with a clue. The clue directed the crews to skulls which contained a key that would unlock the treasure hidden at a nearby waterfall. The red crew found the treasure first.

Captain Joe Don and his officers were relieved of their command and became part of the crew. The red team’s treasure was worth $35,000, and they elected Azmyth as captain. Azmyth selected Jupiter and Jay as officers. As captain, Azmyth decided to split the money evenly between the crew.

Captain Azmyth and his officers picked Alexis, Laurel, and Cheryl to receive the black spot and face being set adrift. Captain Azmyth said he picked Alexis because she had an attitude, Laurel because she liked to float by a little bit, and Cheryl because she didn’t act like she was part of the crew.

At Pirate’s Court, Alexis defended herself by saying that she had been herself, Laurel defended herself by saying she would do anything for the crew, and Cheryl defended herself as not having had a chance to get to know the crew because she had been selected as an officer. The eight non-marked crew members voted a tie between Cheryl and Alexis, so it was left up to the captain to decide which of the two would be cut adrift. Captain Azmyth selected Alexis Shubin to be voted off Pirate Master.
